Brazilian wealthtech startup Decade has emerged from stealth after raising $85 million in Seed funding, a round the company says is the largest seed investment ever secured by a startup in Latin America.

The funding was backed by Greenoaks, Benchmark, and Diffusion, providing Decade with capital to develop its AI-powered wealth management platform and expand operations from its headquarters in São Paulo.
Founded by former Nubank CTO Vitor Olivier and Felipe Meneses, founder of AI company Hyperplane, Decade combines proprietary artificial intelligence with human financial advisors to help clients manage and optimise their investment portfolios.

The platform gives each customer access to a dedicated advisor while AI continuously analyses financial statements, monitors portfolio performance, identifies inefficiencies, and provides personalised investment insights based on each client’s financial profile and previous interactions.
According to the founders, the goal is to make sophisticated wealth management services more widely available by combining human expertise with AI automation. Rather than replacing financial advisors, the technology is designed to support them with deeper analysis and continuous portfolio monitoring.
Decade is currently operating through a waitlist as it prepares for a broader rollout. The company plans to use the new funding to further develop its AI models, expand its engineering team, and scale its wealth management platform across Brazil.
The launch reflects growing investor interest in AI-driven wealthtech solutions, particularly those focused on delivering personalised financial advice at scale. As advances in artificial intelligence reshape investment management, fintech firms are increasingly combining automated analysis with human guidance to improve customer experience while reducing operational costs.
