Polish fintech paymove has secured €2.12 million in fresh funding to support international expansion and accelerate development of its payment infrastructure platform, including new capabilities designed for AI-powered transactions.

The round was led by 4growth VC, with participation from Kogito Ventures and a group of angel investors.
Founded in 2022, paymove focuses on digitizing offline and unattended payments through QR-based payment technology that removes the need for traditional payment terminals, parking meters, and physical cash desks.
Expansion plans target Western Europe
The company plans to use the new funding to expand beyond its home market and strengthen its presence across Western Europe.
According to paymove, advanced commercial discussions are already underway in Spain, Portugal, and Italy as part of its next growth phase.
The company currently operates across more than 2,000 locations in Poland, reaching over 600,000 users and processing hundreds of thousands of transactions annually.

Its technology is designed to simplify payments for parking, public transport, ticketing, invoices, administrative fees, and other offline payment scenarios through QR codes that require no app downloads or customer registration.
Building infrastructure for AI-driven payments
Alongside its expansion strategy, paymove is developing infrastructure aimed at supporting payments initiated by AI agents.
The company says it is building a broader Payment-as-a-Service platform spanning three core areas:
- Offline and occasional payments
- E-commerce and mobile payments
- Agentic payments powered by AI systems
While the first two segments are already commercially available, paymove expects to introduce its dedicated AI payment infrastructure later this year.
The initiative reflects growing interest across the fintech sector in creating payment rails that allow AI agents to securely initiate and manage transactions on behalf of users and businesses.
Offline payments remain a large opportunity
Despite continued growth in digital commerce, paymove believes significant parts of the offline payments market remain underserved by modern payment technology.
The company estimates the European offline payments market is worth approximately €39.5 billion, with unattended payment environments accounting for roughly €9.5 billion.
As instant payments become more widely adopted across Europe through SEPA Instant regulations, fintech firms are increasingly looking for opportunities to digitize traditionally manual payment experiences.
With fresh capital secured, paymove is positioning itself to capture growth across both offline payments and emerging AI-powered commerce infrastructure.
