Polish trust infrastructure company Authologic has been registered as a Trust Service Provider authorised to issue Electronic Attestations of Attributes (EAAs), positioning it among the first providers in Europe able to support credential issuance for EU Digital Identity Wallets.

The registration was granted by Narodowy Bank Polski, making Authologic the first company in Poland to receive approval to issue EAAs. These cryptographically signed credentials allow individuals and organisations to share verified attributes through EU Digital Identity Wallets.
The capability is already live, with businesses able to use Authologic to issue and verify EAAs. The company has also launched an European Digital Identity (EUDI) Playground, allowing organisations to test credential issuance and verification.
The development comes as the European Union moves toward a wallet-based digital identity framework. Under eIDAS 2.0, all 27 EU member states are required to make at least one European Digital Identity Wallet available from December 2026.
Further changes are expected under the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation, which takes effect from July 2027 and is expected to increase the role of electronic identification in customer verification.
“Electronic attestations and EUDI Wallets will soon become a core part of how identity works across Europe. Being registered to issue them places Authologic at the centre of an identity infrastructure that will underpin digital identity for around 450 million Europeans.”
Jarek Sygitowicz, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Authologic
For regulated businesses, the shift could create new requirements around both issuing and accepting trusted digital credentials. Authologic is positioning its infrastructure to help companies prepare for the transition as EU digital identity standards move closer to widespread deployment.
