The round was led by Kirsten Green of Forerunner, as investors continue backing companies developing financial infrastructure for the next generation of AI-powered applications.

Unlike traditional payment platforms built for people and businesses, Natural is designing infrastructure for autonomous AI agents capable of initiating, authorising, and completing financial transactions without direct human involvement. As agentic AI becomes more widely adopted across enterprise software and digital commerce, the company believes existing payment systems will need to evolve to support machine driven transactions.

Natural’s platform is intended to provide the financial infrastructure that enables AI agents to move money securely while meeting compliance and operational requirements. The company is focused on reducing the complexity of integrating payments into AI workflows, allowing businesses to deploy autonomous systems that can transact on their behalf.

The new funding will be used to expand Natural’s engineering team, accelerate product development, and strengthen integrations with enterprise customers and AI platforms.

Investor interest in the company reflects a broader shift taking place across fintech, where payment infrastructure is increasingly being built for machine-to-machine commerce rather than traditional consumer transactions. As AI agents begin handling purchasing decisions, subscriptions, supplier payments, and financial operations, demand is expected to grow for programmable payment systems designed specifically for autonomous software.

With fresh capital and support from Forerunner, Natural is aiming to establish itself as one of the early infrastructure providers serving the emerging market for AI-native financial services.
