The funding includes a $15.5 million seed round led by Venrock, followed by a $48.5 million Series A led by General Catalyst, with participation from Index Ventures and existing investor Venrock.

Combining AI agents with human wealth advisors

Founded by former Plaid product lead Rron Rexha, Arca is developing an AI-powered wealth management platform designed to complement financial advisors rather than replace them.

The platform uses AI agents to automate and coordinate complex financial planning across multiple areas, including investment management, retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, equity compensation, and business exit strategies.

According to Rexha, the company’s long-term vision is to build AI agents across every part of the business, creating a platform that continuously learns and improves over time.

Targeting the next generation of wealth management

Arca is positioning itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence and wealth management, a segment that has attracted growing investor interest as financial firms increasingly adopt AI to improve advisor productivity and deliver more personalized client experiences.

Rather than focusing solely on portfolio management, the platform aims to provide holistic financial planning by integrating multiple aspects of an individual’s financial life into a single advisory experience.

The company believes AI can help advisors deliver more proactive recommendations while reducing administrative workloads associated with traditional wealth management.

Strong backing from fintech and wealth management leaders

Arca launches with more than $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) and support from several prominent figures across fintech and wealth management.

Its board and advisory network includes executives and investors from Vanguard, Charles Schwab, Altruist, General Catalyst, and Venrock, providing the company with expertise spanning investment management, financial technology, and digital advisory services.

AI continues reshaping wealth management

The funding reflects growing investor confidence in AI-driven wealth management platforms as financial institutions increasingly explore automation, intelligent financial planning, and personalized advisory services.

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into financial services, companies like Arca are seeking to combine human expertise with intelligent automation to improve both advisor efficiency and client outcomes.
