The round was led by Jump Capital, with participation from Mitsubishi UFJ Innovation Partners and existing investors Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Infinity Ventures, and Cambrian Fintech.

The funding will help Vinyl expand its platform as the company looks to replace legacy systems that continue to underpin many post-IPO processes across public markets.

Modernizing a critical layer of capital markets

While public companies increasingly operate on modern cloud-based software, many of the systems responsible for managing shareholder ownership records, securities transfers, and corporate actions remain decades old.

Vinyl is targeting this gap with a transfer agent platform built specifically for modern public companies.

The companyโ€™s infrastructure supports shareholder record management, securities transfers, payment administration, and compliance workflows, helping issuers manage ownership changes and investor records more efficiently.

As public companies deal with increasingly complex shareholder structures spanning institutional investors, retail holders, employee stock plans, and secondary market participants, demand for modern securities administration tools continues to grow.

Building next-generation securities infrastructure

Vinyl says its platform has been designed to support both current public market requirements and future developments across digital assets and tokenized securities.

The company has built native support for tokenization and automated ownership management, positioning itself for a future where traditional securities infrastructure becomes increasingly digital.

Rather than focusing solely on IPO execution, Vinyl is targeting the broader lifecycle of public company ownership administration, including share transfers, corporate actions, and shareholder communications.

Funding to accelerate growth

The newly raised capital will be used to expand partnerships, grow the companyโ€™s team, and further develop its technology platform.

Vinyl says it is already supporting public companies and operating within live market environments, providing a foundation for continued growth as capital markets infrastructure undergoes modernization.

As public markets increasingly explore automation, tokenization, and digital ownership models, the company believes the systems supporting shareholder administration will become a key area of innovation.
