PointsKash Secures Up to $100M Strategic Capital Commitment

US fintech PointsKash has secured an expanded strategic capital commitment of up to $100 million from Hawk Capital Advisors, giving the company funding to accelerate its commercial rollout and prepare for a broader US expansion.

PointsKash secures up to $100 million in strategic capital from Hawk Capital Advisors.

The commitment will be provided in two stages. PointsKash can access up to $35 million through October 30, 2026, while a further $65 million is expected to become available between February and April 2027, subject to agreed operating, commercial, and deployment milestones as well as customary closing conditions.

Founded in 2020, PointsKash targets underserved and underbanked consumers through a combination of financial kiosks, its KashPoints network, and the PK Pay mobile app. Its platform allows customers to convert loyalty rewards, cash, and digital assets into funds they can use for everyday spending.

Funding the Next Phase of Growth

The first phase of the capital commitment will support PointsKash’s immediate commercialisation plans. The company intends to refurbish and deploy approximately 2,100 KashPoints, develop PK Pay, expand its merchant network, and continue technology integrations and infrastructure work ahead of a wider national rollout.

The second stage of funding is intended to support the company’s transition from preparation to nationwide deployment. Capital will be directed toward additional kiosk production and installations, merchant implementation, field operations, platform integration, and consumer acquisition.

The staged structure gives PointsKash access to additional capital as it reaches specific commercial and operational milestones, while allowing Hawk Capital Advisors to align its commitment with the company’s execution.

“The staged approach is intended to align capital with execution. As PointsKash advances merchant agreements, deployments and platform commercialisation, the second phase provides a framework to support the next level of growth without losing momentum during a critical period of national expansion.”

Expanding Access to Financial Services

PointsKash is building its business around physical and digital financial infrastructure aimed at consumers who may have limited access to traditional financial services.

Its KashPoints kiosks are designed to provide a physical access point for the platform, while PK Pay extends those capabilities through a mobile application. The combination of the two models allows PointsKash to connect cash-based transactions, digital assets, loyalty rewards, and everyday payments within a single ecosystem.

The new capital commitment could significantly increase the company’s physical footprint while supporting the technology and merchant infrastructure required to operate at a larger scale.

For Hawk Capital Advisors, the investment provides exposure to a fintech focused on expanding alternative financial access in the US. For PointsKash, the staged commitment provides a potential funding path from its current commercialisation efforts toward national expansion.

The company will need to meet the agreed milestones before accessing the second $65 million tranche, making execution across merchant agreements, kiosk deployments, and platform development central to its next phase of growth.
