Temenos Highlights AI Banking Trends at 2026 Awards


Temenos has announced the winners of the Temenos Forward Awards 2026, recognizing financial institutions advancing large-scale AI adoption, cloud migration, and banking infrastructure modernization initiatives.

The annual awards highlight how banks are increasingly investing in cloud-native core systems, real-time banking infrastructure, and AI-driven operational models as digital transformation accelerates across the financial sector.

Among the major winners, UBS received the Future-Ready Banking Award for its enterprise AI strategy focused on deploying “Agentic AI” systems to improve both internal productivity and customer engagement.

Vietnam’s VPBank was recognized for one of the region’s largest core banking migration projects after moving more than 18 million customer accounts and 77 terabytes of data onto the latest version of Temenos Core in a cutover completed in under 24 hours.

Meanwhile, APC Bank received the Digital Transformation Award for launching Curaçao’s first fully digital bank using Temenos SaaS infrastructure.

In Canada, Haventree Bank was awarded for replacing legacy batch-processing systems with a real-time cloud-native banking architecture designed to improve personalization and operational resilience.

Additional awards focused on lending automation and international infrastructure modernization.

National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt was recognized for deploying an automated loan origination platform that reduced secured lending turnaround times by more than 90%, while Bank ABC was honored for migrating its digital banking platform ila Bank onto Temenos infrastructure running on AWS.

Temenos said the awards reflect how financial institutions are balancing rapid technological modernization with operational stability and customer trust as AI adoption accelerates across the banking industry.

The event also underscored the growing role of SaaS-based core banking systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-powered banking operations in shaping the next generation of financial services technology.
