Envestnet Tamarac is expanding its WealthTech platform with new advisor tools focused on trading oversight, reporting flexibility, and mobile client experiences. The release reflects growing demand among RIAs for scalable infrastructure that combines operational efficiency with stronger compliance and client engagement capabilities.

Envestnet, a leading Adaptive WealthTech provider, has announced a suite of major upgrades to its Tamarac platform as part of its first quarterly technology release of 2026. These enhancements are designed to provide Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) with greater trading transparency, reporting flexibility, and a modernized mobile experience for their clients.

The update reflects a strategic focus on โ€œAdaptive WealthTech,โ€ aiming to embed oversight and accountability directly into the daily workflows of independent advisors without sacrificing operational speed.

Key platform enhancements for 2026

The latest release focuses on four critical pillars of the RIA workflow:

Modernized client portal and mobile experience

The client portal has undergone a complete responsive redesign, ensuring a seamless experience across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

  • Mobile-friendly reporting: Key documents, including Capital Gains and Spending reports, now feature optimized layouts and intuitive navigation
  • Responsive design: A faster, cleaner interface that automatically adjusts to any screen size

Advanced trading and risk management

New features within the Rebalance and Trade Review pages aim to reduce manual steps and increase transparency:

  • Trade accountability: A new โ€œTrade Held Byโ€ column identifies which user placed a trade on hold
  • Proactive compliance: Advisors can now view custodial trading restrictions before running a rebalance
  • Simplified model management: Portfolio models can now be changed directly from the account record

Reporting flexibility: selective sync

One of the most requested features, Selective Sync, allows advisors to update specific client accounts individually.

  • Targeted updates: Advisors can push updates for individual accounts instead of running a full sync
  • Expanded grouping: New Report Studio options allow grouping by direct member or single accounts

Refreshed billing interface

The billing module has been updated with improved layouts, headers, and color schemes across:

  • Billing history and definitions
  • Auto-reconciliation workflows
  • Payment detail tracking

Upcoming events for Tamarac clients

Envestnet is supporting this release with educational and networking opportunities:

  • Strategic update webinar: March 24 at 4:00 PM ET, covering โ€œWhatโ€™s New & Whatโ€™s Nextโ€
  • Regional roadshows:
    • Atlanta โ€“ April 9
    • Cleveland โ€“ April 14
